Detailed technical review of a 41 MW WTG project under development in France
Project Context
The client selected 8.2 Advisory as a technical due diligence advisor as part of an acquisition process. 8.2 Advisory provided support with the objective of obtaining an independent and critical assessment of the project. The purpose of the report was to identify, at an early stage, the main issues that could negatively impact the bankability of the projects.
Scope of Work
8.2 Advisory provided the Client with a detailed TDD including:
- Permitting review
- Review of the design
- O&M contracts review : EPC and TSIA contracts (including construction time schedule)
- Grid connection agreement review (characteristics, issues, constraints and limitations)
- O&M contracts review : WTG, Substation, TCMA and Aggregation contracts
- Existingenergy yield assessment review (yield analysis, curtailments, power factor)
- Review of the technical inputs data for the financial model (Capex and Opex);
- Stakeholder analysis (ENERTRAG, Turbine manufacturer, EDF, Aggregator)
