Performance validation during commissioning for a 16 MW wind farm in France
Project Context
The client selected 8.2 Advisory to support them with the validation of wind turbine run tests during the commissioning phase of their wind farm in France. The objective was to confirm that turbine performance was consistent with contractual and technical requirements prior to handover.
Scope of Work
8.2 Advisory supported the client with an independent technical review, including:
- Review of run test procedures and acceptance criteria
- Review of turbine operational data and alarm logs
- Verification of power curve and key functional performance indicators during test periods
- Assessment of compliance with contractual performance requirements
- Identification of outstanding technical issues prior to provisional acceptance

- Independent confirmation of turbine operational readiness during commissioning
- Early identification of technical deviations and pending corrective actions
