Detailed technical review of 231 MW WTG projects under development in France
Project Context
The Client selected 8.2 Advisory as a technical due diligence advisor as part of an acquisition process8.2 Advisory assessed technical viability of the 231MW wind portfolio gathering 14 sites in France, which were at various stages of development (from beginning of the studies up to instruction of building permits).
Scope of Work
8.2 Advisory provided the Client with a detailed TDD including:
- A general review of Vendor data room information available;
- An in-depth technical review including WTG plots, layouts, weather conditions and wind resources, construction timeline, technical curtailments;
- A grid connection review including connection points, cable routes, substation, cost and timeline, grid code compliance;
- A project development review, including Lease Agreement and signed Lease Promises, Easements, Urban Planning, Local Political Context, Project Timeline, Environmental and Regulatory Aspects;
- An independent Energy Yield Assessment and Wind Resource Analysis as per 8.2 Advisory methodology;
- A resulting probability-of-success rate for each project.
