Detailed technical review of 25 MW WTG projects under development in France
Project Context
The Client selected 8.2 Advisory as a technical due diligence advisor as part of an acquisition process. 8.2 Advisory provided support with the objective of obtaining an independent and critical assessment of the project. The purpose of the report was to identify, at an early stage, the main issues that could negatively impact the bankability of the projects
Scope of Work
8.2 Advisory provided the Client with a detailed TDD including:
- A general review of the existing TDD already available;
- An in-depth independent technical review including WTG plots, layouts, weather conditions and wind resources, construction timeline, technical curtailments;
- A grid connection review including connection points, cable routes, substation, cost and timeline, grid code compliance;
- A project development review, including Lease Agreement and signed Lease Promises, Easements, Urban Planning, Local Political Context, Project Timeline, Environmental and Regulatory Aspects;
- A review of the existing Energy Yield Assessment studies.
